I am Isaiah "Zay" Freeney - 17 years old - from Phoenix, Arizona and currently a high school Senior -- Class of 2021. I am a strong candidate for your college program for many reasons. I value and understand the importance of a solid education. I am an academics driven student studying in the Law Magnet Honors program at South Mountain High School. I maintain a 4.0 grade average, currently a weighted GPA of 4.65 and I am a member of the National Honor Society. I am taking Dual Enrollment courses which will allow me to graduate in 2021 with both my high school diploma and several credits toward my Associates degree. My drive for academic success is equally matched with my commitment and dedication on the basketball court.  Playing basketball at the collegiate level is a goal I plan to achieve while pursuing a degree in Contract Law. I am known as a "true" point guard with a high basketball IQ, I can shoot from deep and have the ability to create and execute plays with precision. I am coachable and always willing to learn and improve my craft. I hope to connect and learn from many of you during my high school career.
